Parking & Airports

Council provides parking facilities in Strahan and Queenstown.  Some parking facilities have parking meters installed to ensure that Council is compensated for the cost of the provision of adequate parking and to ensure our customers - both West Coast residents and tourists - are provided with consistent and equitable access to parking facilities.

If you are experiencing difficulty with any ticket machine or parking meter please contact Council on (03) 6471 4700.

West Coast Council operates a registered airport at Strahan and an unregistered airport at Queenstown.  Anyone wishing to land at Queenstown must contact Council prior to landing.  Fuel is notavailale at either airport.  For more information regarding either airport, please contact Council.
