Following a decision by the State Government, three new corporations - Cradle Mountain Water, Ben Lomand Water and Southern Water - have been formed to manage and provide water and sewerage services to Tasmanians.

These corporations are owned by local councils and offer a new approach to water and sewerage.

This means that water and sewerage will not be included in your Council rates and you will receive a seperate bill similar to your electricity bill.

Cradle Mountain Water will service North West Tasmania - including the West Coast.
