Lindsay Newman was first elected as a West Coast Councillor in 2014. His work experience lies in the industries of mining, fishing and hospitality. Lindsay was born in Zeehan and now lives between Burnie and Zeehan, his interests outside of work are gardening, fishing and sports. Lindsay feels "privelaged to live in one of the most unique areas of Australia" and is passionate about his West Coast hometown and municipality. As parents of three and grandparents of six, Lindsay and his wife Anna have rasied a thriving family on the West Coast and look forward to many more years of involvment in the region.
