Our Team

Council’s administration and operational teams, overseen by the General Manager, implement Council decisions and policies. We have a team of around 75 people.

Within our organisational structure are five departments, led by Managers who report directly to the General Manager (GM). Managers are supported by a strong leadership structure of Coordinators and Team Leaders.

Our departments are:

Governance

Governance – provides support to the General Manager and Councillors through the administration of legislative requirements

Growth and Change

Growth and Change: focused on community and economic development initiatives, including supporting committees of Council, and implementing projects and programs supporting community and business

Infrastructure and Operations

Infrastructure & Operations – focused on the planning, maintenance, renewal and upgrade of the Council’s infrastructure and assets. This includes parks, reserves, roads, footpaths, stormwater, waste management and Council facilities

Planning and Compliance

Planning & Compliance – delivering services including planning, building and plumbing compliance, animal control, parking, and public and environmental health

Organisational Performance

Organisational Performance – delivering services including Finance, IT, Data Management, human resources, and Customer and Community Services
