West Coast Mountain Bike Trails

A small number of Mountain Biking enthusiasts have been coming to the wild West Coast for many years seeking out and uncovering old walking trails and sections of wilderness suitable to test their skills. In the true nature of the rugged spirit of the region, they’ve sought to find a way or make it! Now it’s time to let everyone in on the secret, to enjoy what these trailblazers have known for many years … that riding the West Coast is exhilarating, and stepping outside your comfort zone has never been so much fun! The State Government and the West Coast Council have teamed up in recent years to develop a range of MTB trails in the region suitable for all skill levels, and their collaboration has also resulted in the creation of a visionary plan that will see the West Coast region evolve in a very short period of time into a unique, world class MTB destination that will be on everyone’s wish list.

Check out our West Coast MTB Trail Strategy Here

On the West Coast we have some great tracks! Each is stunning and unique in their own right and across the region we accommodate for all levels of rider, from family to adrenaline junkie:

  • Sterling Valley Trail
  • Oonah Hill Trail
  • Ocean Beach Trail
  • Montezuma Falls

Even more exciting, the draft Mt Owen Trail designs have been finalised and adopted by Council.  Check them out here.
