Do you want to be a part of a progressive and innovative Council?

West Coast Council is seeking to appoint a suitably experienced Coordinator of Projects with a background in engineering, and project administration to work within a dynamic team environment.

The position is responsible for the coordination, delivery and support of a wide range of projects aligned to the West Coast Community Plan 2025

The Coordinator of Projects will report to the Manager of Works & Operations by providing critical support, organising and controlling project elements.

We are looking for an individual who will work collaboratively with the Works & Operations team members across the variety of projects to ensure they effectively support project delivery.

Stand-alone projects range from small to medium size, or the work may involve some components of larger projects.

The term of the role is two years, benefits include full private use vehicle and mobile.

You can bring

  • • Tertiary qualifications in engineering together with a minimum of 1 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • • Good track record of projects in delivery, within timeframes and budget requirements.
  • • Experience in developing project documentation while undertaking a variety of administration duties.
  • • Ability to communicate effectively with project staff and other stakeholders while managing your time and work priorities.

An exciting opportunity exists as Council seeks to appoint a Family Support Officer -IFSS to join our Community Services team.

This position will be full time with a fixed term, based on external funding.

The position can be rewarding for the right person, working with families, children and young people whom are experiencing disadvantage or vulnerability on the West Coast.

Based in Zeehan, Family Support Officer - IFSS will provide profi cient support and emergency relief to families, children and young people at risk.

Family Support Officer - IFSS will be enthusiastic and committed to working with families, children and young people within the community using a strengths based approach, building relationships and strengthening families.

You will join our small team of community service professional currently delivering family support including but not limited to integrated case management, home visits, providing in-home parenting strategies, information and referrals.

The position will work closely with families, children and young people including but not limited to disabilities, linguistic, vulnerable and at risk.
