Council Camping Grounds

The West Coast Council operates two designated camping grounds:

  • Macquarie Heads Camping Ground – A coastal camping site at the northern end of Macquarie Harbour, near Strahan.
  • Lake Burbury Camping Ground – A scenic lakefront campground located east of Queenstown.

Both sites offer camping options with basic facilities and an on-site caretaker.
