The West Coast Council is pleased to announce that, through a significant contribution from the Tasmanian Waste and Resource Recovery Board High Priority Investment Program – Remote Councils Special Projects, our LGA is receiving a new Volvo front loader waste truck.
This has been made possible through the support of the Tasmanian Government and the Tasmanian Waste and Resource Recovery Board.
West Coast Mayor Shane Pitt says “We are continuing to build a West Coast that is a fantastic place to live, work and play. This includes our waste strategy, and a new front-loader to assist with waste collection and keeping our LGA clean and tidy, is excellent. Thank you to all involved and we all look forward to seeing it on the
road”.
