The West Coast Council is seeking expressions of interest from businesses, community groups, or other organisations, to utilise the Senior Citizens building, located on Driffield Street Queenstown. The building could be a perfect location for a variety of uses and Council’s aim is to see it actively maintained and utilised for community and/or economic development.
Proposals should include 1-2 pages on how the space will be utilised, the benefits of your proposal to the community, how the building will be looked after and what resources are available to ensure your proposal is successful, along with any other relevant information.
Proposals and questions should be submitted to: communityconsultation@westcoast.tas.gov.au or sent via mail to West Coast Council, PO Box 63 Queenstown Tas 7467 and marked “EOI – Senior Citizens Building, Queenstown”. This expression of interest period will close on Friday 10th March 2023.
