Submissions for the 2019-2020 budget are now open to the public. Any ideas our community have about projects, to the benefit of the community, large or small, can be submitted as part of this process.
All submissions are reviewed and taken into consideration by elected council members, with a priority focus to achieve a balanced budget whilst ensuring Council continues to pursue the community vision adopted in the West Coast Community Plan 2025. I would encourage all community members who want to have a positive and active impact on the West Coast to lodge a submission for review. There has previously been a strong involvement from our community which shows Council that the public is passionate about being engaged community members. Whilst our budget won’t allow us to complete all suggested projects, this process does provide an important insight into the community and assists in forward planning. Council is community directed and this is a great way for you to have your say. Submissions will be accepted until Friday 29th March 2019.
