West Coast Council has welcomed Brad Perera to the role of Works and Operations Manager.

Brad comes to the West Coast from Gilgandra Shire Council in NSW where he held the positions of Manager of Water and Projects and Assistant Engineer. 

“Brad is a civil engineer with local government experience who was a stand-out during the recruitment process,” General Manager Dirk Dowling said.

Major infrastructure projects Brad has previously been involved with include subdivisions, stormwater asset management plans and modelling, active transport strategies, bridge construction and footpath and kerb/gutter capital works.

Experience in asset management and delivering high quality projects will see Brad work with the West Coast Council team to achieve its Capital Works Program and deliver outcomes adopted in the West Coast Community Plan 2025.
