A large portion of Howard’s Park in Zeehan is now open and ready to be enjoyed by the community – just in time for the school holidays!
Temporary fencing remains along the road, with fence to be installed to add a layer of protection between the skatepark and the road.
The basketball court remains fenced off, with hot mixing scheduled to finish off the space.
The public is reminded that the fenced areas remain off limits. Council is also planning an official opening, to take place in coming months once all areas are completed.
Howard’s Park redevelopment is funded by a $600,000 Commonwealth Grant, with Council contributing over $600,000, with the project providing much-improved public infrastructure for the community.
