Background
As part of the redevelopment, Council engaged directly with the community – visiting schools and having site meetings. Concept designs were completed and released in March 2023 with the community able to provide comments to help inform Council’s decision-making regarding the project.
The updated spaces will include an undercover area, flying foxes, ball courts with multi-height hoops, nature-based play areas and fenced areas for younger children.
Access to the public toilets will be maintained throughout the project. The public toilets will remain open during the works, with the project expected to be completed by June 2025.
