It’s biannual clean up time!
Twice a year West Coast Council offers a free kerbside collection for larger items. The collection is a great way to help those who may not have a way to get larger items to transfer stations, encourage responsible waste management and keep our communities clean.
The next collection will be held on Tuesday 18 & Wednesday 19 November – time to plan a working bee at your property!
Register your items for collection by 5pm on Friday 16 May:
- visit the Council Office at 11 Sticht Street, Queenstown
- call 6471 4700
- complete the online form: https://forms.office.com/r/puwLKsxbQs
Items not registered will not be collected.
Broken glass, asbestos, fuels & oils, tyres, soil, concrete, gas bottles, paint tins & items over 3 metres long will not be collected.
