Zeehan Pool Update (October 2023)

The Zeehan Swimming Pool will undergo repairs and upgrades after Council approved and awarded the tender at its October Council meeting.

Two tender submissions were received, they were both reviewed by Council staff with the preferred company awarded the contract to undertake the works.

Works will commence in December 2023 and due to be completed by May 2024.

By undertaking these works the swimming pool will again be a valuable community asset for many years to come.

The swimming pool will be completely upgraded and will include a disability hoist for access to those patrons who may have mobility issues.

Council would like to thank the community for their patience while designs and tender period happened, and we look forward to welcoming community members back when we reopen.
