CHRISTMAS CLOSURE
Council would like to advise that it will close for the Christmas period from 12PM Friday 22 December 2023 and re-open resuming normal business hours from 8:30AM Tuesday 2 January 2024.
For a Council related emergency or serious safety concern please continue to call the main Council number 6471 4700 where you will be re-directed to our after-hours support team.
For a Dog related emergency, please contact the Police.
For enquiries relating to Highways and roads outside town boundaries, please contact Department of State Growth on 1300 139 933.
For all enquiries relating to Water or Sewerage, please contact TasWater on 136 992.

GARBAGE / WASTE
Please be advised that the West Coast Waste Transfer Stations will operate as normal over the Christmas break excluding Christmas day where they will be closed.
During this time kerbside collection will continue on its normal schedule.
SWIMMING POOL
Please note the Queenstown Swimming Pool will be closed on the following dates due to Public Holidays etc.
Christmas Eve – 24th of December 2023
Christmas Day – 25th of December 2023
Boxing Day – 26th of December 2023
New Year's Eve – 31st of December 2023
New Year's Day – 1st of January 2024
